Free-spending Marseille are considering a deal for former Manchester City full-back Bacary Sagna, according to L’Equipe.
The 34-year-old has been released from his contract at Etihad Stadium and is now searching for a new club.
L’Equipe claims that Marseille are ready to offer the player a chance to return to France and become a part of a very ambitious project.
L’OM have also been linked with moves for Kurt Zouma, Jeremy Mathieu and Adil Rami, meaning the team could have an entirely new back four next season.
Bacary Sagna could now return to France after spending last ten years in England, making a total of 267 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and Manchester City.
