According to A Bola, Milan Badelj is on the verge of completing his move to Lazio. The Croatian, who was a World Cup runner-up this past summer in Russia, has been a source of interest for many top clubs around European football. Now, however, it seems as if the rumours will soon come to an end with Lazio believed to be his final destination.
After making a name for himself with Dinamo Zagreb, Badelj really hit the limelight during his recent four-year stint with Fiorentina. Despite being on the verge of his thirties it still seems like Milan has a lot to give to the game, especially if he continues to remain consistent as a defensive midfielder, which is a priority position for many who have major defensive issues.
Whilst some would’ve hoped to have seen him move to an even bigger club, perhaps one great year with Lazio could lead to something even more remarkable.
