Badstuber calls for error-free Bayern

Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has urged his side to avoid making mistakes in their clash against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

The Germany international is full of praise for the reigning champions, but insists Bayern will do their utmost to move further clear atop the Bundesliga.

“Dortmund are a fantastic team, but we’re in very good shape. It’ll be a tight, hotly contested game. The little things will decide it,” Badstuber told the club’s website.

“I’m certain we’ll be the team making no mistakes, or fewer decisive errors. And we have to play as a tight unit, we need to come together and work together. That’s the recipe for success.

“The whole thing’s being heavily hyped. I’m trying to shut out all of that and focus completely on the match. That’s part of our craft.

“But obviously, it’s not just any other Bundesliga fixture, prestige is at stake.”
