Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Inter Milan are weighing up a summer bid for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Nerazzurri squad is set to undergo a major rebuilding at the end of the season and it is believed veteran striker Diego Milito will be among those expected to leave.
As a result, Inter are searching for attacking reinforcements and they appear to be hot on the trail of Lyon’s Bafetimbi Gomis.
The highly rated forward is out of contract in the summer and he has long ago expressed his desire to leave his current employers.
Newcastle are also believed to be keen, but having already rejected a move to St James’ Park in the past, the 28-year-old is unlikely to change his mind.
Bafetimbi Gomis has now scored at least ten goals in each of last eight Ligue 1 campaigns, and he is 11/5 to score anytime in the Europa League clash against Chernomorets.
