“Milan are a legendary club. Who wouldn’t like to stay at a club like Milan for a long time?
“Having said that, I’m still under contract with Chelsea for the next three years. I don’t have all the cards.”
Those are the words of Tiemoue Bakayoko who, during a recent interview, all but confirmed that he wants to make the jump over to AC Milan on a permanent basis. The 24 year old has been able to enjoy a solid spell of good form at the San Siro on loan from Stamford Bridge, but for whatever reason, it seems like Chelsea aren’t particularly interested in selling him on a permanent basis.
This is despite Bakayoko failing to impress Maurizio Sarri during pre-season, and despite the fact that Chelsea could likely use an injection of passion from someone like Bakayoko.
The defensive midfielder joined the Blues from Monaco back in 2017, after spending three years with the Ligue 1 club.
