Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport has suggested that Senegalese forward Balde Diao Keita is almost certain to leave Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
The highly rated footballer has refused to extend his contract that expires in June 2018 and he is wanted by a number of top European sides.
Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito was having second thoughts whether to cash in on his prized possession, but he seems to have finally made a decision to sell.
Namely, the Biancocelesti expected Keita to arrive in Rome in time for the Coppa Italia clash vs Inter Milan as he was supposed to return from Africa Cup of Nations duty, but he instead failed to join with the squad and now risks a fine.
On top of that, Lazio chiefs have been convinced that the 21-year-old lacks the commitment and motivation needed to give his best for the club and the summer exit is now on the cards.
