Tottenham star Gareth Bale has admitted he would be open to a move overseas in the future.
The highly rated winger has so far resisted the temptation to join one of the true European greats, while pledging his future to Tottenham on numerous occasions.
However, the 23-year-old admits that he would like to test his skills in a league other than the Premiership at one point in the future.
“I’d never be scared of it. It’s something I’d like to experience,” Bale told The Guardian.
“It’s in the future but if something did come up I would obviously look at it with interest.”
Despite the growing speculation linking him with a move away from White Hart Lane, the Welshman claims he never considered leaving Spurs.
“No. The manager situation wasn’t really my worry either. We’re going in the right direction. We’ve made some great signings. We’ve got a new training ground, we’re planning a new stadium. It’s all looking bright.”
Gareth Bale is widely regarded as one of the best wingers in world football at the moment and has seen his name linked with just about any major club there is.
Since joining Tottenham in the summer of 2007, the Wales international has scored 23 goals in 118 Premier League games for the club.
