Talk Sport has today revealed that Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale is keeping his options open and is not ruling out a move to La Liga in the near future.
Bale has been linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona, with Luka Modric urging his former teammate to come and join him at the Bernabeu.
The 23-year-old has expressed his desire to play Champions League football a number of times and has also said that one day he wants to win Europe’s elite competition – something that he would have a good chance of doing at one of these El Clasico clubs.
Despite Andre Villas-Boas dismissing reports that his star man would move to Spain, Bale appears to be keen on a move abroad – especially if Spurs do not manage a top four finish in the English Premier League this campaign.
The Welshman has been in scintillating form for Tottenham this season and is sure to have been catching the eye of both Tito Vilanova and Jose Mourinho.
If they were to come and offer him a big money move, then it might be tough for Bale to turn the opportunity down.
It is certainly a fascinating story to keep an eye on as the transfer window draws closer.
