According to a recent report over in Spain, Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is the latest big name being linked with a switch to Inter Miami. David Beckham, the president of the new Major League Soccer franchise, hasn’t been shy when it comes to putting out feelers for top stars to come and test the waters over in America.
Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Edinson Cavani are all names that have been linked with the Miami franchise, who appear to be doing everything in their power to land a big marquee signing.
Regardless of whether or not it works you certainly can’t accuse Beckham of not sticking his neck out on the line and taking risks.
In terms of the money involved, we can only imagine that there are some extraordinary fees being thrown around. Either way, it seems like only a matter of time before one of these big names decides to make the jump.
