Gareth Bale has confirmed that he plans to return to Real Madrid after his loan spell with Tottenham Hotspur comes to an end.
Some Spurs fans may have been hoping that the Welshman would want to make his move a permanent one, but for a series of reasons, it doesn’t seem as if that’s likely to happen.
Bale got off to a slow start when returning to North London on loan but in the last few weeks, he’s been able to bounce back and put in a strong shift across all competitions.
Jose Mourinho definitely seems to be impressed by what he’s seen, and you’d have to think that has extended to supporters.
