The Mail Online understands that Gareth Bale could be set to sign a ‘deal for life’ at Real Madrid.
The proposed offer would see the twenty-six year old forward become one of the highest paid players in the world and end speculation surrounding his future, with a return to the Premier League having been mooted in recent months.
Bale is currently starring at the European Championships in France, with his goal in Wales’ 3-0 win over Russia on Monday evening making him the tournaments top scorer with three strikes.
He moved to the Spanish capital from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013 and has so far racked up one hundred and twenty-three appearances in all competitions, scoring fifty-eight goals.
He was part of the squads that won the Champions League in both 2014 and 2016, while he also has a winners medal in the Copa Del Rey.
