Gareth Bale is set to be offered a new deal at Real Madrid, according to the Express.
The potential contract would see him reach a similar pay bracket to teammate Cristiano Ronaldo with both players having been linked with a move to Manchester United in the not too distant past.
However, the chances of the Red Devils securing a deal for the Wales international would be dealt a huge blow should he put pen to paper at the Bernabeu, where has been since signing from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013.
In total, the twenty-seven year old has racked up one hundred and twenty-seven appearances for the La Liga giants in all competitions, scoring sixty goals while he was part of the squads that won the Champions League in both 2014 and earlier this year.
He also starred for Wales as they beat the odds to reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
