Gareth Bale is ready to shun interest from Arsenal as he holds out for a move to Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.
The Wales international has continuously been linked with a return to the Premier League with Old Trafford his most likely destination.
Arsenal were ready to enter the race to secure his services though the former Tottenham Hotspur man would prefer to link up with Jose Mourinho’s side.
Since arriving in the Spanish capital Bale has racked up one hundred and eighty appearances for Real, scoring eighty-one goals while he has helped them to glory in the Champions League in three of the past four seasons.
He also has a La Liga title and a Spanish cup to his name while during his time at Spurs he was twice named PFA Player of the Year.
Internationally he has been capped seventy times for his country, scoring twenty-nine goals.
