Bale to stay at Real Madrid?

According to a recent report from Marca, Gareth Bale still wants to stay at Real Madrid this summer and prove himself to manager Zinedine Zidane – despite everything that has happened. The Welshman has been publicly disrespected by the Frenchman in recent days, to the point where many fans have questioned why he hasn’t already tried to negotiate his move away from the Bernabeu. However, this report suggests that he may have changed his mind, which is certainly an interesting way to initiate some reverse psychology.

Bale is still considered to be one of the best players in world football by a lot of neutral fans, but when it comes to Zidane, he couldn’t be any less impressed if he tried. It seems as if Zinedine has a certain idea of what he wants his squad to be and look like in his mind, and for whatever reason, Bale just doesn’t feature into those plans.
