The representative of Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has dismissed speculation that his client could be set for a return to his homeland after a difficult start to his spell with the Reds, according to the Mail Online.
Since arriving at Anfield, the 24 year old has made fourteen appearances in all competitions but has scored just twice – against Swansea City in the League Cup and Lugorets in the Champions League.
His poor form had seen him linked with a potential return to Italy, not least since Roberto Mancini, who managed the striker at both Inter Milan and Manchester City returned to the San Siro though his agent Mino Raiola has said the such a move would not be possible.
Liverpool took the lead against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon but eventually lost 3-1 – their fourth straight defeat in all competitions.
They are now five points off a top four spot, and can be backed at 7/2 to finish in the Champions League qualification places.
