Manchester City are prepared to sell star forward Mario Balotelli for €28 million, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.
Milan recently made an enquiry into the availability of the controversial striker and were informed that the player would cost around €37 million.
Vice-president Adriano Galliani yesterday stated that the Rossoneri would only reignite their interest if the asking price was lowered, and Manchester City officials have acted accordingly.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Citizens are so keen on selling the Italian that they are ready to let him leave for €28 million.
This is likely to be a tempting proposal for the Rossoneri, especially if they fail to sign Kaka from Real Madrid.
It is no secret Mario Balotelli is an avid AC Milan fan and he would probably jump at the opportunity to return to San Siro, having already played for Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old has lost his place in the side at Etihad and is ready to embark on a new challenge.
