Balotelli eyes Premier and Europa League titles

Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli wants to win the Premier League title in his first year in England.

The 20-year-old, who signed for City from European champions Internazionale in the summer, won the Serie A three consecutive times before leaving Inter.

And Balotelli wants to continue that tradition by winning the Premier League title.

“I’m fine in Manchester City and I want to win the Premier League,” he told Tuttosport.

The Italy international also wants to win the Europa League for the first time in his career this season.

“I want to continue in the tradition that I had with Inter where I won the last three championships and then win the Europa League, which is something that I have never won.

“We are favourites to win that trophy and it is something I want to win.”

Balotelli has been linked with a future return to Italy with Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic expressing his hope to partner the young Italian at the San Siro.

“Let him continue to do it, so one day his wish will be fulfilled and I can wear the Rossoneri shirt,” Balotelli said.
