(GSM) – Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho has chosen to leave striker Mario Balotelli out of his squad for the match against Roma tonight. The forward had bust-up with Mourinho and the Portuguese tactician has punished “Super Mario” by keeping him out of the Nerazzurri squad for the fifth successive time.
Inter will visit the Stadio Olimpico in what will be a huge game in the Serie A. A win for Roma would allow them to trail Inter by only a single point. Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola admits he is not surprised with the decision.
“It is not a surprise,” he told Ansa news agency. “I would have been surprised by the contrary.
“Obviously, if Mourinho continues not picking Mario then it’s a choice he shares with the club.
“Of course being left out isn’t a pleasure for Mario, but he has a clean conscience and he feels tranquil.”
Balotelli has been linked with a move to Inter’s arch rivals, Milan, after he said that he supported the San Siro club as a child. The player has also been linked to Arsenal.
