Ajax are the latest club to be linked with a move for Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli, according to the Mail Online.
The twenty-five year old, who spent last season back on loan at Milan has been deemed surplus to requirements by Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp.
He spent preseason training at Melwood as Klopp took the first team squad to the US and could be set to open talks with Ajax should they qualify for the Champions League.
Balotelli made twenty-three appearances in all competitions for Milan last season, scoring three goals while in his one and only campaign with the Merseyside outfit he netted just four times in twenty-eight outings.
Prior to his move to Anfield, Balotelli spent also spent the 2013/14 campaign with Milan having spent three years with both Manchester City and Inter Milan while internationally, he has been capped thirty-three times for Italy, scoring thirteen goals.
