Balotelli linked with Premier League return

The Mail Online understand that Mario Balotelli could be set for a return to the Premier League this summer.

The twenty-seven year old is available on a free transfer with his contract with Nice set to expire and the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli in his home country are also interested.

He has previously turned out for Manchester City and Liverpool in England, winning the Premier League title with the former – famously providing the assist for Sergio Aguero in a goal that clinched the championship in the final moments of the 2011/12 campaign.

He moved to Nice in the summer of 2016 and has since racked up sixty appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-nine goals.

He hasn’t featured internationally since the 2014 World Cup finals, winning the last of his thirty-three senior caps in a 1-0 defeat to Uruguay in the group stages of the competition.
