Balotelli pledges future to Manchester City

Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli has revealed that he intends to remain at Eastlands amidst speculations linking him with AC Milan.

The former Inter forward has had a lot of problems settling to the in England, but he is eager to prove his worth at Eastlands.

“When I first came here it was difficult. Why? ¬Because I came from another country and I am only 20. I also had two difficult injuries,” Balotelli told The Mirror.

“But the idea people have of me is not correct. I am shy. I like to do what normal 20-year-old guys like to do.

“There are things I regret. But people don’t always do the right thing, do they? Next season I think my family will come over to live with me, and it will be better.

“There hasn’t been one match this season when I have played at my best level. My normal level is better than most players, but when I play at my best then I know I am one of the best in the game.”

He’s got the talent, but he reminds me of Mourinho. Both of them are bigheads. . . yeah, Balotelli showed modesty in that last bit, as Kevin noticed, but he’s acted too much like a primma donna, especially when he boasted about being the second best in the world, which he is NOT.

He could be brilliant, If he stopped talking about how good he is and just got on with it.

I’m really happy to see him stay and really looking forward to seeing him step up and show us what he can do next season. He could be brilliant and we all know it.
