Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is too expensive to return to Serie A with Inter or AC Milan, agent Mino Raiola says.
Balotelli has claimed Inter president Massimo Moratti told him he would ‘take him back in an instant’, and that he had spoken to both of the Serie A giants.
Raiola, however, finds such a move back to Italy difficult to envisage, predicting his client would be out of the price range of both clubs.
“If Inter and AC Milan have difficulties in finding 25 million pounds to invest on Carlos Tevez, how can they pay 50 million or 60 million pounds for Balotelli?” Raiola told The Sun.
“This is the value of Balotelli, he’s number one.”
Raiola also suggested the Italy international forward could prolong his stay at the Etihad Stadium, having scored eight English Premier League goals in 14 appearances so far this season.
“Mario is well in Manchester and perhaps he’ll extend his contract,” he said.
