Italian defender Federico Balzaretti has explained that he has yet to make a decision on his future.
The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain near the end of the season, but the Saints have yet to make an official offer for the Palermo defender.
The experienced full-back has a promise from club owner Maurizio Zamparini that he will be allowed to join the French giants, and he now reveals the offers are pouring in for his services.
“I spoke with Zamparini in May, we are in contact and we’re talking with my agent,” Balzaretti told Il Corriere dello Sport in Krakow.
“I’m currently focused on the European Championships. The certainty of staying 100 per cent at Palermo is not there. We are seeing offers arrive.”
The 30-year-old is currently with Italy’s Euro 2012 squad in Poland and he is tipped to start at left-back, after Domenico Criscito was left out of the squad.
Lazio were one of the clubs linked with a move for Balzaretti, but the full-back explains that he would rather move elsewhere.
“All clubs are welcome, but between Palermo and Lazio the priority is Palermo. I have a contract for another year still, that is indisputable.”
Balzaretti wasn’t all that influential for Palermo this season, having produced just 3 assists in 27 Serie A games.
