Banega’s agent confirms Sevilla return

Argentine playmaker Ever Banega is set to return to Sevilla, the midfielder’s official representative has moved to confirm.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain made an effort to recruit the Argentine when it became clear he would be leaving Inter Milan, but the 28-year-old eventually decided to return to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Banega’s agent moved to confirm that PSG were out of the picture and that a move to Sevilla was on the cards.

According to Estadio Deportivo, los Rojiblancos will pay €9 million for their former player, who left the club on a free transfer just a year ago.

Banega since managed 6 goals and as many assists in 28 Serie A appearances, but didn’t quite managed to establish himself as an undisputed starter.
