Baptista could join Atletico Madrid

Roma striker Julio Baptista has hinted that he would be interested in a move to Atletico Madrid.

Baptista is reportedly being linked with a January switch to the Spanish side.

“The interest from Atletico Madrid is an honour for me,” Baptista told Punto Radio.

“If I was to change team then I would be happy to move there. However, I want to remain at Roma.”

Baptista’s agent insisted on Friday that there was no chance that the Brazilian striker would be leaving Roma in January.
