Boca Juniors hotshot Leandro Daniel Paredes is attracting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 18-year-old has been likened to club icon Juan Roman Riquelme, with his elegance and technical qualities reminding the fans of the veteran midfielder.
Paredes’ talent has been recognized by scouts of top European clubs, namely Barcelona and Milan, who are closely monitoring the player’s progress.
The Rossoneri are particularly keen on the talented youngster as they want to invest in players for the future, looking to continue the squad rebuilding process.
However, the interested clubs have already been informed they won’t get Paredes on the cheap, with Boca Juniors slapping the €10 million price tag on the player.
Los Xeineze could consider cashing in on the player in the summer, but only if the midfielder is allowed to spent the 2012/2013 season on loan at La Bombonera.
Leandro Daniel Paredes has been in fine form this season, scoring 2 goals in 10 league appearances for the club.
