Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Valencia youngster Alberto Tendillo, reports Superdeporte.
The 18-year-old has been promoted to the first team set-up after it had become clear that Adil Rami would not be playing any more this season.
With the player’s contract expiring at the end of the season, Valencia officials are currently negotiating a contract renewal, but the defender’s future at Mestalla remains in doubt.
This has seen Barcelona, Real Madrid and Espanyol express interest in the talented centre-back, as they all hope to sign Tendillo on a free transfer next summer.
Alberto Tendillo has yet to be handed his first team debut, although he has made three appearances for Spain Under-19 side.
The stopper is predicted a bright future in the game, but it remains to be seen whether Valencia will be able to keep hold of him with El Clasico rivals showing interest in his services.
