Barca, Arsenal and Chelsea in battle for 14 year-old prospect.

The Daily Mirror says that Arsenal and Chelsea are locked in a battle over the signing of a 14-year-old currently at Barcelona.

I would guess that Barcelona would like to keep the lad as well so that’s three of the top clubs in the world fighting over a fourteen year old.

I wish the young man, Gerard Deulofeu, well, but to be hyped that much at fourteen must put an almost impossible weight of expectation on any persons shoulders.

I just hope Deulofeu is allowed to develop his career away from the media gaze, wherever he ends up.
