Barca boss not ruling out Pogba move

In an interview ahead of Barcelona’s game against Tottenham Hotspur, coach Ernesto Valverde refused to rule out a move in the future for Paul Pogba. While he didn’t necessarily hint at the idea of it he did say that you never know what’s going to happen, and given the speculation surrounding the potential move at the moment, that feels like as good of an indication as any that it could be in the pipeline. The saga surrounding the Frenchman appears to be taking different turns with each and every passing day, with one story causing more confusion than the last.

That’ll likely continue until the January transfer window is upon us, because when you look at Manchester United’s current trajectory, it feels like that’s when the move could be finalised – unless Jose Mourinho is dismissed before then, which could change Pogba’s perspective as he continues to wrestle with the idea of leaving.
