Barca eyeing Mario Gaspar
El Mundo Deportivo has learned that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Villarreal full-back Mario Gaspar.
The Catalans are preparing for life without Daniel Alves even if they have not given up on trying to persuade the Brazilian to extend his stay.
And with their primary target Danilo Luiz da Silva reportedly agreeing a summer deal with Real Madrid, Barcelona appear to have turned their attention towards Mario Gaspar.
The Villarreal defender has largely impressed ever since the Yellow Submarine returned to the elite division and he is widely regarded as La Liga’s best right-back at the moment.
Mario, 24, already has plenty of top flight experience and 25 appearances in European competitions, and it looks as though he might leave EL Madrigal in the near future.
But, seeing as the full-back has a contract until June 2019, it is clear Barcelona will have to delve deep into their pockets if they want to lure him to Camp Nou.
Valencia keen on Sporting starlet
La Liga giants Valencia are readying summer bid for Sporting Lisbon winger Andre Carrillo, according to A Bola.
Los Che aim to recruit a right winger that would provide competition for Sofiane Feghouli and it looks as though the Peruvian footballer is at the top of their hit-list.
Valencia scouts have watched the 23-year-old in action on regular basis this season and the La Liga side are expected to come forward with an official proposal in the coming months.
Andre Carrillo joined Sporting Lisbon from Alianza Lima back in 2011, and he needed a while to prove his worth at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The highly rated footballer has been in scintillating form this season, having managed 5 goals and 10 assists in 24 league outings.
Carrillo has also nailed down a regular starting berth in the national team and could be in line for a big club move at the end of the season.
Andre Ayew on Newcastle, Wolfsburg radar
French media outlet Le 10 Sport understands that Newcastle and Wolfsburg are among clubs showing interest in Marseille hotshot Andre Ayew.
The Ghanaian forward is almost certain to leave OM when his contract expires at the end of the season and he will have no shortage of offers.
And while Napoli and Roma have yet to make their interest concrete, the likes of Newcastle and Wolfsburg are in the process of drafting lucrative offers, hoping to win the chase for the player’s signatures.
According to Le 10 Sport, both clubs are ready to offer Ayew a contract worth €2 million per campaign, in addition to a €2.5 million signing-on fee.
Few more top clubs are expected to join the race by the end of the season, with the forward currently focused on the Ligue 1 title chase.
Having slipped to third in the league standings, Marseille are now 18/1 chance to lift the league trophy.
