Accoding to Spain’s Sport, various Colombian media outlets are confirming that Barcelona has agreed to terms with Palmeiras for Yerri Mina to make his way to the Camp Nou.
The report states that although this is a “done deal” that the details of when the 22-year-old centre back will make his way to Barcelona are still up in the air.
Reportedly there are three options: that Mina can make his way over from Brazil this summer, during the winter transfer window, or that he will arrive in Catalonia after the 2018 World Cup.
The young Colombian player is currently on the mend as he recently had surgery done to repair a fractured metatarsal and will be expected to be out from anywhere from five weeks to three months.
Before exploding on the scene at Palmeiras, Mina came from Colombian side Santa Fe as a highly touted talent where he made 124 appearances for them and scored 12 goals.
