Eleven Sports media outlet claims that Barcelona are in advanced talks with Villarreal midfielder Roberto Soriano.
The Catalans are looking to spend the money from the Neymar sale and the Italian footballer has now emerged as one of their targets.
Eleven Sports journalist Mateusz Swiecicki claims that he was informed by the player’s family that talks with Barcelona were in progress.
The 26-year-old only joined the Yellow Submarine last summer, but he enjoyed an excellent debut campaign, scoring 9 goals and producing 5 assists in 33 La Liga outings.
Soriano had previously impressed playing for Sampdoria in Serie A and he has so far earned 8 Italy caps.
