Barca join race for Yarmolenko

Catalan daily newspaper Sport is reporting that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Dynamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Catalans reluctantly agreed to let Pedro leave for Chelsea and are now very short of options in the final third.

And while Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez have been promoted to the senior squad in order to act as back up for the starting trident, Barcelona officials aim to address the issue in the January window.

La Masia graduate Nolito remains the number one option seeing as he should be able to immediately integrate into the squad, but his €18 million release clause could prove to be a problem.

At the same time, Barcelona are looking at Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko, who is widely tipped to leave his current employers for greener pastures.

The highly rated footballer has been linked with a summer move to Everton, while the Catalans are unlikely to make a move before the January transfer window.
