According to a recent report from AS, Saul Niguez is a big target for Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window. Atletico are believed to be interested in offering him a new contract, but want to wait and hear from the midfielder himself regarding what he wants to do with his future. At the age of just 24, the Spaniard is widely considered to be one of the most underrated midfielders in European football today – but as you can see, not everyone agrees with that sentiment.
Saul first joined Atletico’s youth system back in 2008 when he made the switch over from city rivals Real who, interestingly enough, don’t seem to be all that interested in the prospect of bringing him back over to the Bernabeu.
Saul made his debut for the Spanish national team back in 2016, having built his way up all the way from the under 16s.
