Champions League winners Barcelona are considering a January bid for Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Having seen a number of high-profile midfielders and attackers suffer serious injuries of late, the Catalans plan to strengthen in the winter, and the priority is on signing experienced players who can make an immediate impact.
And while a move for Celta Vigo star Nolito seems on the cards, Barcelona are also weighing up swoop for Robin van Persie.
The 32-year-old is seen as someone who could prove a good signing at Camp Nou despite the fact that he is already past his prime.
Van Persie only joined Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the summer, but he recently complained about the lack of first team opportunities.
The Netherlands international has less than two years left on his deal at Sukru Saracoglu, but chances are he would be interested to hear what Barcelona have to say.
