Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has refused to rule out a bid for Tottenham full-back Gareth Bale.
The La Liga giants are just one of the sides linked with a move for the Tottenham star, and Rosell has now refused to confirm the Catalans’ interest in the player.
“I don’t know if we are interested in Gareth Bale,” Rosell told Al Jazeera.
“But, if that were the case, I would not say. That would only increase the price.”
The Barca president did reveal that there was no way they would pay €40 million for Bale.
“In any event, even if we want to get him, we won’t pay €40 million.”
