El Mundo Deportivo has learned that Barcelona are readying summer bid for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
It is no secret that the Catalans hope to lure the Frenchman to Camp Nou, and they plan to do so next summer.
While Griezmann currently has a €200 million release clause in his contract, the amount will be lowered to €100 million on 1st July 2018, which is great news for Barcelona.
The Catalans are ready to splash out €100 million on the France international as they believe he will prove a worthy replacement for Brazilian forward Neymar.
Antoine Griezmann, 26, has so far scored 99 goals in 259 La Liga outings for Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid.
The good news is that the forward is ready to consider an offer from Camp Nou as he seems prepared for a new challenge in his career.
