As Paris Saint-Germain prepare to try and bounce back from their Champions League defeat at Liverpool by taking on Red Star Belgrade, Barcelona are sending their scouts to the Parc des Princes to watch the performance of Adrien Rabiot first-hand, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The French midfielder, expected to start the game in the holding role, has reportedly rejected PSG club’s third offer of a new contract amounting to €7.2million per year, and he seems determined to leave the club soon. Links with the Catalans have been going on for quite a while now as Barca look to rebuild their midfield, and although Liverpool have also been credited with an interest, those reports were quickly dismissed and the Camp Nou seems to be his likeliest destination once his current deal expires.
The representatives of La Liga champions are also attending the Youth League game between PSG and the Serbian side which takes place this afternoon.
