Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya is widely expected to leave Camp Nou in the upcoming transfer window, AS can reveal.
Despite recently signing a new deal until June 2018, the talented defender has expressed his desire to quit in search of first team football and it appears the Catalans will have no choice but to let him go.
And given Montoya’s high salary, Barcelona might be forced to sell the 23-year-old on the cheap in January.
According to AS, the highly rated full-back has a number of suitors from Italy, England and Germany, while Le 10 Sport claims that Marseille remain keen on his services.
Martin Montoya amassed quite a few appearances under Pep Guardiola and Tata Martino, but he has struggled for playing time ever since Luis Enrique took over.
Barcelona face high-flying Valencia on the road tomorrow evening and they can be backed at 1/2 to win at Mestalla.
