Barcelona fans have continued to celebrate their La Liga triumph, taking to the streets in an open-top bus parade.
Thousands of fans lined the sidewalks of Barcelona to celebrate with their heroes on Friday, just two days after they wrapped up the league title with a 1-1 draw at Levante.
Pep Guardiola’s side have lost just two league matches all season, and can clinch a double if they topple Manchester United in the Champions League final at Wembley on May 28.
But for the next couple of days at least, the focus is firmly on celebrating the club’s third successive La Liga crown.
“There is no point thinking about others because Barcelona are the best team in the world,” midfielder Xavi said during the celebrations.
Goalkeeper Victor Valdes was also clearly delighted with his side’s feats this season, echoing Xavi’s thoughts.
“If anyone wonders why we are here, it’s because we are the best,” Valdes said.
Barca will continue their celebrations when they host Deportivo La Coruna at the Nou Camp on Sunday.
