Champions League holders Barcelona aim to rekindle interest in Dynamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko next January, according to A Bola.
The Catalans had made the Ukraine hotshot their primary target to replace Pedro Rodriguez and even attempted to recruit him in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona then had a €20 million bid rejected for Yarmolenko as Dynamo Kiev wanted €25 million for their prized asset.
Nevertheless, the Catalans will not be giving up on their target, but rather plan to return with an improved bid in the January window.
Andriy Yarmolenko has so far resisted temptation to leave Dynamo for greener pastures, but the latest reports suggest he is ready to move on.
The player, who managed 101 goals and 69 assists in 269 competitive appearances for the Ukrainian giants, was also on the radar of Everton this summer, but the Toffees, too, failed to agree a deal with his employers.
