Barcelona on Wednesday unveiled their fourth off-season signing, Sevilla's Brazil international defender Daniel Alves.
Alves, 25, who joined the Spanish giants in a deal worth 29 million euros with a further six million on offer depending on results, is an attacking right back who can also play in midfield.
He almost moved to Chelsea last year. Last month he had said he wanted to leave Sevilla where he has played since 2002.
It is Barca's fourth signing for next season after the recent transfers of Malian midfielder Seydou Keita from Sevilla, Spain's Gerard Pique from Manchester United and Uruguay's Martin Caceres from Spanish club Villarreal.
Italy's Gianluca Zambrotta and Frenchman Lilian Thuram have left the club.
