El Mundo Deportivo has learned that Barcelona plan to lure Denis Suarez back to Camp Nou at the earliest opportunity.
The Catalans decided to cash in on the talented footballer last summer as he joined Villarreal in a €4 million deal, but they appear to have regretted the decision.
And following some impressive displays for the Yellow Submarine, Barcelona are determined to bring the La Masia graduate back to the club.
The Catalans have scouted the 21-year-old winger on numerous occasions this season and coach Luis Enrique gave the green light for the transfer to go ahead.
And even though Barcelona have the option to buy Suarez back for €3 million next summer, they will attempt to persuade Villarreal to let the youngster leave this January.
Considering that he only started eight league games this term while making another five substitute appearances, Suarez’s return of three goals and as many assists is quite impressive.
