Catalan daily newspaper Sport understands that Barcelona are considering a summer bid for Everton forward Gerard Deulofeu.
The Catalans have been impressed with the player’s performances for AC Milan this season and they are thinking about offering him a chance to return to Camp Nou.
According to Sport, Barcelona have until 30th June to exercise a €12 million buy-back clause, and they are currently considering said option.
It was Luis Enrique who didn’t want Deulofeu at Barcelona and with the coach set to leave at the end of the season, the talented footballer is back on club’s radar.
Considering that the player’s value has increased a great deal over the last few months, the Catalans could even purchase the winger only to sell him for profit, although they will definitely face stiff competition for his signature.
Gerard Deulofeu managed one goal and three assists for AC Milan this season, while he also scored for Spain in an international friendly against France.
