Barcelona suffered yet another huge disappointment at the end of the season on Saturday.

The Catalans were unexpectedly beaten by Valencia in the Copa Del Rey final.

Having been eliminated in the semifinal of the Champions League at the hands of Liverpool, their players repeatedly stressed the importance of winning the domestic double, but they now end the season with “just” winning La Liga.

Speaking after the final, Gerard Pique expressed his belief that had they got into the Champions League final, they would have won the treble.
