Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya could be allowed to leave the club on loan, according to Spanish daily Marca.
Italian giants Inter have expressed interest in purchasing the talented defender, but the Catalans are not prepared to sell since they regard the player as a hot prospect for the future.
Montoya is seen as a good long-term replacement for Dani Alves and the club would only allow him to leave on loan in the summer transfer window.
For the time being, the Nerazzurri are not interested in a loan deal, but there will be quite a few Spanish clubs looking to take advantage of the opportunity.
Montoya has been showing a lot of promise this season and everybody agrees he is ready for first team football.
The 22-year-old has clocked up 13 appearances in Spanish La Liga, while featuring in another nine games in other competitions.
