El Mundo Deportivo understands that Barcelona are set to complete a deal for Sevilla stopper Clement Lenglet.
The same source claims that the Catalans have decided to match the player’s €30 million release clause, while they are close to reaching an agreement with the defender as well.
Even though he was initially reluctant to move to Camp Nou due to slim chances of securing regular first team football, Lenglet appears to have changed his mind.
The Frenchman seems to believe he can move in front of Thomas Vermaelen and Yerry Mina in the pecking order, while it is by no means certain that Samuel Umtiti will remain at the club.
Lenglet, 22, has been in excellent form since arriving from Nancy some 18 months ago, scoring 3 goals in 51 La Liga appearances.
