According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona could join Juventus in being priced out of a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. The Spanish club are more than happy to discuss the possibility of the Frenchman coming to the Nou Camp, but open hearing his wage demands, they’ve allegedly taken a step back.
Pogba is believed to want a net salary of around £10.7 million, with his agent, Mino Raiola, demanding a large commission of the transfer fee – which, of course, would likely be in the region of around £100 million. Pogba is a wanted man and there’s no way around that, but the saying goes that no one player is bigger than any club – and with that in mind, you have to question if anyone is willing to stump up the cash for him.
Also, if they secure Pogba, then the report suggests that they wouldn’t have enough to go after Frenkie de Jong.
