Barcelona and Atletico Madrid reach Antoine Griezmann agreement

French forward Antonine Griezmann has been highlighted as one of Barcelona’s hottest summer transfer wishes.

Atletico Madrid superstar has been linked with a move away from Los Colchineros for quite a while now and it appears that the summer ahead of us could finally resolve his situation.

The 27-year-old flirted with Manchester United last season when it was believed he could be the next Frenchman to join the Old Trafford outfit following the arrival of Paul Pogba but Spanish giants Barcelona have now emerged as firm favourites to land Griezmann.

Atletico Madrid are said to have reduced Griezmann’s release clause from €200 to €100 with Spanish media outlets Diario Sport and El Mundo Deportivo claiming that Barcelona are keen to go the full distance in order to land the highly-coveted star.

Diario AS is shedding a new light on Antoine Griezmann’s situation, however, claiming that two clubs have reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ over Antoine Griezmann. Barcelona will reportedly not approach the player until he made it clear that he wanted to leave Atletico.
