Barcelona and Chelsea want Arsen Zakharyan

Barcelona and Chelsea are interested in signing Arsen Zakharyan, according to journalist Nobel Arustamyan in Championat. It has been reported that Spanish giants Barcelona are pushing ahead to beat defending European champions Chelsea to the signing of the Dynamo Moscow midfielder.

European powerhouse Barcelona have sent scouts to watch Zakharyan on several occasions at Dynamo. The La Liga outfit are ready to hold talks with the Russian Premier League club. Barcelona’s plan is to complete the signing of the 18-year-old midfielder now and let him stay at Dynamo until the summer of 2022.

Zakharyan has made seven appearances in the Russian Premier League for Dynamo so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process. The teenager scored three goals and gave three assists in 13 league matches last season.
